October 23, 2004: Dreamcatcher Inaugural Sale

A huge thanks to everyone who participated in our First Annual Focused On Customer Value Sale, held October 23, 2004 in San Marcos, Texas. The following are the results of the sale:

The auctioneer was Jim Birdwell and the sale was managed by the Maurer Sales Company. The high selling lot was Lot 39, Drmctr 1407 Design 3B50 a huge crowd favorite combining spectacular statistics with Impressive Phenotype. He sold for $12,500 to Lee Mueller, Live Oak Farms, La Grange, Texas. Long time Angus breeder, Bill Clark of Clark Angus Ranch near Crockett, Texas purchased the second high selling lot at $8250. This powerful Gridmaker son ranked in the top 1% of the breed for YW, EPD and $Beef. The female offering was highlighted by Lot 69, Drmctr 755 S Precision 1P01, a full sister to GAR Precision 1019. The dam of GAR Integrity who sold for $255,000 in Gardiner's 2004 sale. She sold for $8000 and went to Brian Hutchins of Columbia, Tennessee and Destiny Angus Farm. Second high selling female at $7000, was GAR New Design 3299. A B/R New Design 036 daughter selling safe in calf to GAR Retail Product. She was purchased by Circle X Ranch of Bryan, Texas.
